I feel incredibly passionate that individuals deserve understanding and acceptance during times of uncertainty and difficulty. We can all feel this way and sometimes it can seem as though no one is listening to us or it can be really hard to share these thoughts and feelings with our friends and family.
I work as an integrative counsellor meaning that I may draw upon the insights of a variety of counselling theories and models as each person that I meet is an individual and my belief is that no single approach suits us all.
My aim is always to provide a supportive, non-judgemental and safe environment, where at the heart of my work will always be to nurture a good therapist-client relationship. My belief is that each person has the potential for self-growth.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
I am a professionally trained and qualified integrative counsellor with a wide range of experience from my work gained in the NHS and hospice setting. I have worked with many different people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, loss & bereavement, trauma, addictions, self-harm and other mental health and life issues.
Please get in touch with Charlie Rendell (MBACP Accred) if you have been thinking about accessing counselling support and we can arrange to meet for an initial consultation to explore your therapy goals.
